Makeup.... if you wear make-up, apply it as you normally would.  At the very minimum, please wear lipstick and mascara.  For both guys & girls retouching is available, but coverage of any blemishes is recommended.

Hair... avoid a new hair style of hair cut just prior to your session.  If you don't like it, you may have to wait before it grows to a manageable length.  Bring all your hair supplies with you when you come for your session, that way you can tame stray hair that could ruin a good photograph.

Clothes.... make sure it fits.  Oversized clothes are in style, but on camera they aren't as flattering.  Clothes that are too tight may also make you look heavier than you really are.  Also, pay close attention to the colors that you choose for your outfits.  Solid colors photograph well, but be careful with stripes- on camera they can add weight.  We strongly recommend that you don't wear sleeveless tops, in photographs they can make your arms appear bigger.

Hobbies & Sports Memorabilia.... feel free to bring any mementos, uniforms, letter jackets & all related items (footballs, guitars, snowboards, bikes, trophies, etc.) with you to your session.

Pets.... cats, dogs, cows, horses, etc are welcome at Sleger's Studio.  We ask that you bring someone with you to care for your pet while you are having the rest of your portraits taken.  All pets must be kenneled.

Vehicles & Motorcycles....be sure your wheels are clean, but don't worry if they get a little dirty on the way to the studio.  It can always be touched up when you get to Sleger's Studio.

Sleep... get plenty of rest before your session.  If you are tired, it will show!
